Recap: Inter Miami vs Cincinnati 3:3 (American Cup Semifinals) (Sports1)
Anyone who has watched Inter Miami's games may have noticed a mysterious figure accompanying Lionel Messi - on the lines, and sometimes even on the pitch. It turns out that the U.S. team hired a private bodyguard on the advice of owner David Beckham to protect the flea, mainly from the possibility of fans breaking into the pitch.
So who is this menacing bodyguard? His name is Yassin Chuako, and in the past he was an MMA fighter, no less, and a soldier in the special unit of the US Army, who fought in Afghanistan and Iraq, among others. Chuako accompanies Messi everywhere - before, during and after matches - to make the star feel safe in the new country.

"It's clear to everyone that security will be beefed up," one Miami owner said in June, upon Messi's inclusion. "We will take all precautions, not just the games. I saw how the Argentina team conducted itself at the World Cup. She had come to Miami earlier, and we had a chance to see it. We are very prepared."
