End: The game is over, Eintracht Frankfurt starts with a 2-1 victory over FC Aberdeen in the Conference League. However, the SBU had a hard time for long stretches of the game against defensive Scots, who hardly showed anything offensively.
90. +3 min: Aberdeen comes back and wants to force the equalizer. After a free kick there is suddenly a chance, but the shot attempt is clearly missed. Take a deep breath at the SBU.
90th minute: The injury time is five minutes.
86th minute: Will Aberdeen FC's final offensive still come here? At the moment, it doesn't look like it.
82nd minute: Buta replaces Marmoush, the scorer to make it 1-0.
81st minute: The last ten minutes are running. Eintracht Frankfurt have the game under control and Aberdeen pose no threat. That should be enough for the first win in the first Conference League match.
77th minute: Knauff simply pulls off and forces Roos to make a save. Subsequently, the Scots switch offensively.
76th minute: Aberdeen surprisingly stick to their defensive style of play despite falling behind and continue to go on counter-attacks.
71st minute: Knauff crosses to Ngankam, who misses the target with the back of his head.
67th minute: Ngankam prevails in a duel, but is disturbed at the last second at the end. There was more in it for the SBU. Meanwhile, Knauff comes into the game for Nkounkou.
64th minute: That has to play into Eintracht's hands now. Unlike after the 1-0, the SBU now stays on and goes for the third goal.
61st minute: Koch scores to make it 2-1 for Eintracht Frankfurt! If there is little going on in the game, it has to be a standard situation. Robin Koch heads into the far corner after a corner.
58th minute: Nkounkou is brilliantly cleared and pulls off from ten yards, but the flag of the assistant referee goes up – offside.
55th minute: Frustration for Dina-Ebimbe, who is completely dissatisfied after an unfortunate pass from a teammate and thrusts the ball into the stands.
53rd minute: Aberdeen ventures forward again, but does not pose any problems for the SBU defence.
50th minute: The picture is similar to the one before the break. Eintracht had a lot of possession, but continued to lack any brilliant ideas in the final third.

46th minute: The second half continues.
Half-time: Then it's time for a break. Eintracht Frankfurt started the game full of energy and took an early lead through a converted penalty by Marmoush, but then suddenly let up. Aberdeen came out of nowhere to equalize and subsequently did not allow any more dangerous action by the SBU. So far, the Scots' plan is working.
45. min +2: Another corner for the SBU, Nkounkou brings it inside, but the Scots clear without any problems.
45th minute: There are four minutes of injury time in the first half.
43rd minute: Suddenly, the chance is there! Smolcic with a strong pass to the starting Aaronson, who fails with his direct acceptance to Roos. But it would have been just offside anyway.
42nd minute: Aberdeen sometimes stands with nine men around their own penalty area. This is anything but easy for Eintracht, which does not pose any major problems for the guests at the moment.
38th minute: Sebastian Rode can't continue. The captain has to go out due to injury and limps off the pitch. Quite bitter! He is replaced by Hugo Larsson.
35th minute: The wrong passes in the final third are piling up at Eintracht and the visitors have often dared to get out of their half since the equaliser. It's going to be hard work for the SBU today.

30th minute: On the pitch, Eintracht Frankfurt is currently struggling to create scoring opportunities. The pressure of the initial phase is over for the time being.

25th minute: Aaronson gets the first yellow card of the game after a tactical foul.
22nd minute: Out of nowhere, suddenly the equaliser for Aberdeen FC! Skhiri with the loss of the ball, in the penalty area Polvara gets to the ball a little luckily and hits it under the bar – 1:1.
19th minute: Miovski writhes in pain after a tackle with Smolcic. The medical department is on the lawn. Will it continue for the attacker?
17th minute: Koch chips the ball strongly into the opponent's penalty area, but Rode doesn't quite get close to the pass. Nevertheless, a good idea, so it can work today against the strong guests.
12th minute: The early lead helps Eintracht immensely. The visitors cannot stand in their own half for the entire game, but have to act more courageously. This, in turn, creates space for the eagles.
9th minute: Penalty for Eintracht Frankfurt! Ebimbe asserts himself on the outside and is clearly fouled. Marmoush puts the ball on the spot and sinks in the bottom right, 1:0 for the SBU (10th).
7th minute: Dino Toppmöller's team is patiently looking for a gap in the visitors' backline, but it hasn't opened up yet.

1st minute: The ball rolls between the SBU and Aberdeen.
Update, 18:38 p.m.: The atmosphere in Frankfurt's Waldstadion is fantastic. In less than ten minutes, the match between Eintracht and Aberdeen FC will start here.
Update, 18:22 p.m.: For the guests from Aberdeen, things are anything but smooth in the Scottish league. After five matchdays, the club is still without a win and is in penultimate place in the table with just two points. So the self-confidence should not be huge.

First report: Frankfurt – The Conference League adventure starts for Eintracht Frankfurt against FC Aberdeen. In the duel with the Scottish club, the SBU is the big favorite, must not underestimate the strong fighting squad from the island, which will most likely approach the game very defensively.
Eintracht Frankfurt meets FC Aberdeen
"Aberdeen have two good strikers and Clarkson is a confident midfielder. They go for second balls, but they are not a typical Scottish team. When you let them play, their quality comes into play. The defence is tackling and rustic," said SGE head coach Dino Toppmöller before the game against the Scots.
"We are aware of the importance of the first group game. We want to continue our decent start to the season with a home win. We know how difficult the task is, but we are also aware of our role as favourites. We want to live up to this," continued the coach, who can rely on almost his entire squad: "Except for Jakic, who still has knee problems, everyone is on board. Sebastian Rode has recovered from his illness. He took part in parts of the team training yesterday and completed it today. If everything is okay tomorrow, he'll be in the starting line-up." Toppmöller can therefore draw on the full range of starting eleven and certainly surprise.
Eintracht keeper Kevin Trapp is really looking forward to the new competition: "The anticipation is great. We've been working for a year to be international for the third time in a row. Tomorrow I'll be rewarded." However, he warns against taking the opponent lightly: "We shouldn't be blinded by Aberdeen FC's start to the league. We have a good job ahead of us."
Eintracht Frankfurt with respect for the underdog from Scotland
The goalkeeper is holding back with one objective, he wants to master the preliminary round with his team first: "We have the ambition to be as successful as possible. It's a new competition that we take as seriously as possible. First, however, it is important to survive the group stage. That's what we want to start with tomorrow."
Trapp is not worried about the many departures of top performers. "The circumstances surrounding success are the departures of top performers. That's part of football. This summer there were a few more. We have come a long way to achieve this. The team has potential. The three-day rhythm can help us get used to it more quickly," said the 32-year-old ahead of the Aberdeen game. (smr
