German biathlon celebrities "reunited": "An enchanting photo"

Magdalena Neuner, Martina Beck and Miriam Neureuther are among the German biathlon greats of bygone days. Now it came to the reunion.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Magdalena Neuner, Martina Beck and Miriam Neureuther have won a total of 31 World Championship and eight Olympic medals for Germany. The three biathletes, above all Neuner and Beck, are without question among the most successful German winter sports athletes of the recent past.

"Finally": Reunion of Neuner, Beck and Neureuther

Even though all three have long since ended their careers, the German biathlon celebrities have seen each other again in recent days. Neureuther posted a photo of it on Instagram.

"Finally reunited with the two here," Neureuther writes under the photo, in which the three former winter sports stars are all dressed in dirndls and smile cheerfully into the camera. Unfortunately, it is not clear exactly which event the reunion was.

Biathlon successor Preuß thrilled with photo

However, the three come from the Förderverein Biathlon Werdenfels, which was also linked in Neureuther's post. It is therefore obvious that it was an event of the Förderverein. After all, Neureuther continued: "Beautiful evening at the Skigau Werdenfels."

It goes without saying that the biathlon fans are over the moon at the sight of the picture. "An enchanting photo of you", or "Three authentic, likeable athletes" are just a few of the many comments under the picture. The current biathlete Franzi Preuß, who recently celebrated her comeback, was also very impressed and commented in the most beautiful Bavarian: "Fesch, fesch."

By the way, the three never ran together in a season. Beck ended her career in 2010, while Neureuther did not celebrate her breakthrough in biathlon until the following season. Magdalena Neuner, on the other hand, won two World Championship gold medals together with both Beck and Neureuther. (kk
