Shortly before the end of the transfer window – Kolo Muani becomes the SBU's record sale
Will the transfer of Kolo Muani go down in Eintracht Frankfurt's books as the best in the club's history? In the summer of 2022, the attacker was brought in from FC Nantes in France for free. In his debut season, the 24-year-old shone and was involved in a strong 46 goals in 40 games for Eintracht. Among other things, he led his team to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
A move was considered extremely likely at the end of the season, but the decisive steps were not taken until the end of the transfer window. Shortly before closing time, Eintracht Frankfurt and Paris Saint-Germain were able to agree on the transfer fee, so that the transfer still took place. In the meantime, Kolo Muani even tried to strike his way out of the club.

Kolo Muani makes his debut for PSG
Last weekend, the €95m newcomer made his Ligue 1 debut for the French champions. In the 64th minute of the game, he came on for Gonçalo Ramos in the game against OGC Nice. Just four minutes later, the guests from the south coast extended their lead to 1:3 from the point of view of the Parisians.
The first few minutes in the Paris Saint-Germain jersey were certainly different for the France international. Shortly before the end of the game, he set up the goal to make it 2-3 by national team colleague Kylian Mbappe. Despite all offensive efforts, the industry leader was no longer able to equalize.

Disastrous start to the season for PSG – goals in jeopardy?
Although it was the first defeat in the fifth game in the French Ligue 1, the Parisians have only managed two victories so far. This ensures that after five matchdays they are in fifth place in France's top flight with eight points. This is PSG's worst start to the season since the club was taken over by Qatar in 2011.
After the installation of Luis Enrique as head coach and the upheaval in the squad, everything should get better in Paris. Finally, the club wanted to attack the great triumph in the Champions League. On Tuesday, Kolo Muani's team will kick off their Champions League campaign against BVB. With Newcastle United, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, they have caught a real hammer group. We need to get off to a good start against BVB. (jari)
