FC Bayern started their Champions League campaign with a victory. Still on the pitch, however, Dayot Upamecano and Leon Goretzka are at loggerheads.
Munich – FC Bayern won their Champions League opener 4-3 at home against Manchester United. In the end, the result is closer than it should have been. In the closing stages, Bayern conceded two unnecessary goals.

Upamecano's risk pass puts Kimmich in a tight spot
Already with the score 3-1 for the Munich in the 82nd minute of the game, however, two Bayern stars got into each other's hair. What happened?
Dayot Upamecano played a risky pass to Joshua Kimmich in the scene before the fight, who was put under pressure in this action by Scott McTominay, who has recently been repeatedly linked to the Munich team. Kimmich then lost the ball just before the sixteenth.

Müller confirms Upamecano-Goretzka-Zoff on the pitch
Upamecano was able to win the ball back quickly, but drew the displeasure of Leon Goretzka with his risky pass. The midfielder complained loudly to the Frenchman, who in turn gestured wildly in the direction of Goretzka. Upamecano probably didn't like the fact that he only had one play station with Kimmich.
The players on the pitch and the fans in the Allianz Arena were also pleased to hear the dispute. This is also the case for Thomas Müller. "There was a short smoke," Müller later confirmed in the mixed zone, but also clarified that the two have now clarified the scene.

Müller and Freund have no problem with quarrels on the pitch
"I don't know if it was even a little kiss, but at least there was still a knock-off on the pitch," reported the Upper Bavarian in his usual Müller manner. In general, the attacker, who had to take a seat on the bench at the beginning, had no problem with the quarrel of his teammates: "Of course, you have to make sure that you can maintain your form to some extent, that's important. If that's how it goes, then that's wonderful."
The new FCB sporting director had a similar view. "You could see it. But it was also right that the team was alive. The guys want to win the game. There can also be emotions," said the Austrian about the scene. In the end, Bayern conceded two goals despite the Zoff scene, but ultimately won the game. And Upamecano and Goretzka will be able to see past their dispute today at the latest. (kk
