The judge of the National Court Francisco de Jorge, who investigates the facts related to the kiss of the former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Luis Rubiales to the player of the selection Jennifer Hermoso, has summoned as witnesses for the days 25, 28 September and 2 October to several relatives of the footballer to testify as witnesses.

Among them, three teammates of the football team, as well as two defense experts who will go to the National Court to ratify the report provided by Rubiales' lawyer to the court. Some of these statements will be held by videoconference. Likewise, the Central Court of Instruction 1 of the National Court has already received through the Embassy of Australia, thanks to the rapid collaboration of its authorities, the certificate of the content of all the crimes of the Criminal Code of that country in relation to the facts investigated and that are applicable in the State of New South Wales.

These new summonses join those of four other officials of the Federation who have already been called by the judge. They are the Director of Marketing, Rubén Rivera; the head of press of the women's team, Patricia Pérez; the Director of Integrity Miguel García Caba; and the director of the men's team, Albert Luque. ERC asks in Congress to end the obligation of the calls of the Spanish team

Esquerra Republicana (ERC) has registered a non-legislative proposal in Congress to end the obligation to attend calls of the Spanish football team and other sports, in such a way that it is only a voluntary option of the athlete.
