Cristiano Ronaldo continues to show improved ability in recent times. On Friday, the Portuguese scored his 33rd goal of 2023, finding the net in Al Nassr's match against Al Ahly in the seventh round of the Saudi Arabian league.
Ronaldo took just 4 minutes to find the net, doing so in style, and under special circumstances: Al Nassr fans gave him a warm welcome and lit dozens of flares in the stands, but despite the smoke screen created in front of the goal, he received a pass from Sadio Mane and subdued the goalkeeper with a sharp left-foot kick into the far corner.

Anderson Taliska, who himself is in excellent form, scored a pair in the 17th and 45+6th minutes, with Frank Kessie in the middle to make it 2-1 in the 30th minute. Either way, Al Nassr looks on the safe path to a fifth win this season after opening the season with two losses.
