Recap: Bayern Munich vs Bochum 0:7/Sport 1
Germany is used to seeing Bayern Munich's fifth, sixth and seventh displays, but Saturday's 0-7 victory over Bochum was a different victory that made headlines for Harry Kane who scored his first goal since joining the German champions from Tottenham last summer. In addition to the trio he scored, the England striker added a pair of assists to lift Bayern to the top of the Bundesliga table.
Kane, with his seventh goal this season in the German league, became the first Bayern Munich player to score at least 6 goals in his first 5 games for the club. He broke the record of Gerd Muller, Miroslav Klose and Mario Mandžukić who scored 5 goals in the same period of games. Beyond that, the Englishman recorded another record of becoming the first to be involved in 10 goals in his first 5 Bundesliga matches, with a record of 7 goals and 3 assists. In total, since the start of the season and in all competitions, Kane has been involved in 12 goals for the Bavarians.

The Englishman added: "We played very well today and played with the right mentality. We made it sound for us, everyone performed wonderfully. I'm getting to know the team better every game and things are working very well for me and the rest of the team."
German Kicker called Kane's performance "historic" and added: "He does things they didn't do in the team. Bayern Munich seems happy with him and enjoys football more."
Some in Germany gave real credit for the victory to Kane's wife, who first arrived at the Allianz Arena with their 5-week-old son, who first came to watch his father.
