Recap: AC Milan vs Verona 0:1/Sport1
AC Milan - Verona 0:1
After the humiliating 5-1 snatch from Inter in the derby and the 0-0 Unimpressive at the San Siro against Newcastle in the Champions League, it's no surprise that Milan sweated a lot against modest Verona, in a game whose start was delayed by 25 minutes because rain flooded the pitch, but the bottom line is that they got the job done and got back on the winning track thanks to a goal from Rafael Leao in the eighth minute. The Portuguese found the net for a third consecutive game in Serie A. The problem is that the long injured list was joined by Rada Krunic. The Bosnian was substituted in the 65th minute after what appeared to be a stretch in his posterior thigh muscle, after Milan went into the game without Theo Hernandez, Davide Calabria, Ismail Benasser, Pierre Kalolo and Mattia Caldara.

Sassuolo vs Juventus 2:4
The 1-3 win over Lazio catapulted Juventus into the top four of the Italian league table, but for the second time in a row during their visit to Sassuolo, the Old Lady finished with a loss. Armand Lorient took advantage of a bad mistake by Wojciech Szczesny (12) en route to an early advantage that lasted only 9 minutes until Matthias Vienna (self, 21) equalised and scored his own goal against the ex. Domenic Berardi (41) put the hosts back in the game and Federico Chiesa (78) was already celebrating the dramatic equaliser with the away crowd. Four minutes later, Andrea Pinamonti headbutted Sassuolo's third goal and an own goal by Federico Gatti in extra time gave the hosts three important points, their first defeat this season to Juventus in the Italian league.
