Bayern Munich - Bochum 0:7
After the disappointing 2-2 draw with Bayer Leverkusen and the criticism of the defence and Sven Ulreich in particular in the 3-4 win over Manchester United, the goalkeeper continued to get the credit at the expense of Daniel Perez and this time kept the net clean in an easy win that lifted the champions to the top of the table. The celebration began in the fourth minute when Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored the first, Harry Kane added (13) 9 minutes later, Matthijs de Licht (29) scored the third and Leroy Sané enjoyed an assist from the England player (38) en route to a quadruple at half-time. The England captain (54) added the fifth from the white spot and cooked again, this time for Mathis Tal (82) who punctuated with a kick into the far corner. Kane completed his debut goal for Germany (88) en route to first place in the goal celebration at the Allianz Arena.

Borussia Dortmund vs Wolfsburg 0:1
The runners-up's faltering start to the season was cut short in the last round with an impressive win over Freiburg, but a loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the opening round of the Champions League group stage dropped the yellow-and-black to the ground for an intriguing encounter with Wolfsburg, whom they had not lost at home in almost 11 years. It took 68 minutes for Julian Brandt to find Marco Reuss who Makarov scored the hosts' important goal that brought them back, at least temporarily, to the top four.

Borussia Mönchengladbach - RB Leipzig 1:0
The foals were hoping to start the season much better after 4 games without a win, but meeting the Bulls is not exactly the perfect recipe for getting out of the crisis, and so it was this time. Timo Werner scored the winner in the 75th minute and continued Leipzig's superb run with a fifth consecutive win in all competitions en route to third place in the table.
