Real's difficulties were visible from the first moments of the match, played in a Metropolitano that was just waiting to ignite. Morata gave him a good reason to do so, opening the scoring in the 4th minute, winning a Samuel Lino centre. Enough to expose Madrid's defensive largesse, which Griezmann did not hesitate to exploit in turn, a few minutes later.
