Recap: Bayern Munich vs Bochum 0:7/Sport 1
A month has passed since he signed for Bayern Munich, and Daniel Perez's long-awaited debut is upon us. Tomorrow (Tuesday, 21:40 p.m., Sport2) it should happen, with the Israeli goalkeeper set to stand between the rafters in the Bavarians' cup match against little Munster, coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed today.
"I've worked a lot abroad, where it's customary for the other goalkeeper to get a chance in the cup," Tuchel told the press conference. "It's important for Daniel. His behavior is great. Our entire goalkeeping department is a great unit that pushes each other. Sven Ulreich did a very good job, but it deserves Daniel. We've already spoken to him and our goalkeeping coach. We signed Daniel because we have high hopes for him for the future. If all goes well in training, Perez will start tomorrow."
The one who will be included in the squad tomorrow for the first time this season is Rafael Guerreiro, who suffered a calf injury but can now finally be at Tuchel's disposal. Manuel Neuer will continue to be absent, as will Matthijs de Licht.

Bayern, who opened the season in Germany with four wins and one draw, are clear favourites against the team ranked 15th in the third division. Apart from Perez, Tuchel is expected to incorporate quite a few other bench players into the cup game. The two teams have met only once in their history so far - then, in the preliminary round of the German Cup in 2014, the Bavarians won 1-4.
