Recap: Maccabi Tel Aviv - Breidblick 2:3/Sport1
Just before midnight, Maccabi Tel Aviv players from Kiryat Shalom dispersed to their homes last night, after a training session that opened at 21:30 p.m. to give those who fasted time to eat something and recover from the Yom Kippur fast. Even at the end of practice, the players ate at the training facility, already aware of the management's decision to withdraw the 2,300 tickets for the team's fans for tonight's derby (Tuesday, 20:30 p.m.).
After experiencing yesterday morning a training session that was interrupted several times and did not reach the end as planned because of the fans who protested the management's first decision, last night the training took place as usual and the players are satisfied with the bottom line that they will have fans in the stands.
Coach Robbie Keane has decided for the second time in a row in a league game to invite three goalkeepers to a squad of 21 players. Ahead of tonight's game, he will leave one of them out, with the big question being whether he will continue with Roy Mashpati in goal and whether Orlando Mosquera will replace Daniel Tannenbaum on the roster.
Will get minutes? Golsa vs Dan Einbinder in a previous derby/Bernie Ardov
The novelty of Cain's summons for tonight is the inclusion of Eyal Golsa and the removal of Ido Shachar from the staff. Sharan Yeni will also not dress tonight and Sayed Abu Farhi, who was in the squad for the match against Breidblick in the Conference League, will also be left out.
Keane will have to choose the left defensive position between Roy Revivo and Ofir Davidzadeh and on the right wing between Yonatan Cohen, Osher Davida and Gabi Kanikovsky.
