By dint of accumulating defeats, Paris FC is bogged down in the depths of the Ligue 2 ranking. After good intentions of entry and a promising first period on Tuesday night, the club of the capital has dropped foot and was surprised, just after the break, by the leader Laval. If everything smiles on the Mayennais, who sign there a fourth consecutive victory, the Parisians grimace. They are now 17th, in a relegation position.
For its last match "at home" in Troyes, in a stadium of the Aube ringing hollow, the PFC started the game as it should. Hamel and Lopez were the most threatening on Samassa's goal. At the end of the first half, the Parisian threat is still becoming clearer. Following a corner shot from the left by Lopez, Hamel extends from the head to the second post to Mandouki, who places his just above the goal (39th). Koré had saved his own by interposing on a Laval shot signed Tchokounté (30th).

After the break, Laval were more pressing. And just before the hour mark, a corner by Vargas on the right side, slightly extended to the second post, found Diaw's foot to open the scoring from close range (0-1, 56th).
Three changes then took place on the Parisian side. Hamel, Lopez and Doucet gave way to Fadiga, Lukembila and Camara (65th). The siege of the opposing goal began, intense but too imprecise to hope to equalize. This does not bode well for a trip to Annecy on Saturday (19 p.m.).
