Sergio Ramos' home was broken into during last week's match between Sevilla and Lance in the Champions League, Spanish newspaper ABC reported on Wednesday. The four children of the brake and Pilar Rubio were at the scene at the time of the robbery, but were not injured. The footballer's wife was out of town for work reasons and the children were under the care of babysitters.
The case is under investigation and Spanish media said that luxury watches, jewelry, designer clothing and an unknown amount of cash were stolen from Ramos' estate. This is not the first time the veteran defender has fallen victim to a robbery: it also happened to him during his days as a Real Madrid player in 2012 when he was at home alongside his brother Rene.

Ramos, 37, returned to his hometown of Sevilla earlier this month, signing for his youth club after finishing his career at Paris Saint-Germain. The mansion that was broken into last week is also where the actor and his wife married each other about four years ago. It is spread over 44 acres and includes paddle and football fields, a pond and a farm where Ramos breeds 50 horses, including a world racing champion.
