It's been over a month since Daniel Perez signed for Bayern Munich and as the days go by, he seems to be acclimating more and more to the German luxury club. In training he looked close to Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich and took advice from them, last week he received the first goalkeeper's vest in the game against Munster, when he kept a clean net, and in light of Neuer's injury and Ulreich's unconvincing ability on Saturday against Leipzig, quite a few of the team's fans would love to see him come up tomorrow (Tuesday, 22:00) in the away game against Copenhagen in the second round of the Champions League.
For now, according to reports and despite his ability and criticism, Ulreich will play against the Danes at Parken Stadium, but Perez received information on Sunday about the next match in the German Cup in which he is almost certain to play, with Bayern drawn in the next round against Saarbrücken, which like Munster also plays in Germany's third division.
Already before the game against Munster, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel said that he advocates, like many other places in the world, a rotation of the goalkeeper position in the cup match and claimed that Perez looked good in training and got minutes thanks to him, which is expected to happen in the game scheduled for November 1.
