Ulm – After four defeats in a row, TSV 1860 Munich has recently turned the corner in the 3rd league. Now it's off to newly promoted Ulm, who have made a promising start to the season, but have recently received a bitter slap. Numerous supporters of the Lions have made the journey to Ulm. With 17,000 spectators, the Donaustadion will be sold out for the first time in 23 years.

Live-Ticker: 1860 is in good shape

Even though 1860 Munich are currently two points and six places behind Ulm, Bayern go into the game as favourites. At the weekend, TSV won 1-0 against Verl with an own goal. The week before, there were already three points. In Halle, Morris Schröter and Julian Guttau ended the losing streak of the previous four games with their goals.

Ulm, on the other hand, started with only one defeat in the first seven matchdays. Most recently, however, it was a clear 0-4 defeat against Ingolstadt. However, 1860 coach Jacobacci is not blinded by this encounter: "The result belies the performance they have brought." Ulm is therefore a "very good team that can also play football well."

Ulm coach Thomas Wörle, who used to play in the U21s of 1860 Munich, has a lot of respect for the Lions: "This is a club that wants to play at the top. We have a lot of individual quality in store. We have a lot to gain."

For the Munich team, the main thing is to keep up with the top of the table. With only two points behind relegation place three, on which the current Erzgebirge Aue is located, everything is still possible this season.
