The accusation is harsh, blatant and outrageous. Buzaglo/Niv Aharonson
Former footballer Maor Buzaglo caused a storm online on Saturday with a tweet in which he referred to the surprising and murderous attack suffered by Israel, hinting at traitors. "Something doesn't work out here in any way," Buzaglo wrote, "It's not like they broke into us with spaceships or invisible planes. These (spelling error in the original) with regular vehicles, ordinary motorcycles, on foot!! Without anyone bothering them! Without a single helicopter popping up, just open a fence, go in and out... This is a huge omission and betrayal of someone on the inside!! Otherwise there is no explanation for this madness. Time will tell."

Buzaglo has since deleted the tweet, but it is part of a dangerous trend on social media where people are spreading conspiracy theories that the military or security establishment were traitors or collaborators with Hamas. Buzaglo received harsh and blunt reactions even before he deleted the tweet, and there are already calls online for him to be fired as a commentator.
