Wars of honor on social media are nothing new. If the older generation hung up the phone inside to someone who upset them, today you can simply download a follower from your ex-boyfriend's Instagram account and close the matter. It sounds childish, but that's how it works in today's reality, which of course does not skip the world of sports.

And that's what happened this week to Manchester United's young rising star, Alejandro Garnacho, who scored what looks like the goal of the season in the Premier League and perhaps the world two days ago. The 19-year-old sent a superb ball into Everton's net and got everyone excited, as he did himself in celebrating scoring a spectacular goal.

Garnacho always speaks of his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, and so he celebrated the goal, with the famous jump and call of the Portuguese's signature "Sui". Now, on the podcast of the former Rio Ferdinand player, it turns out that there are those who don't like the fact that Garnacho admires the phenomenal who plays in Saudi Arabia.

"My son told me today that Leo Messi stopped following Garnacho on Instagram, that he doesn't care about it at all, because he keeps saying: 'I'm Ronaldo's man, he's the best player of all time as far as I'm concerned,'" said Ferdinand, who quickly investigated the matter and discovered that it was probably true.

One of the reasons for Messi's seemingly petty move is that Garnacho, a Spanish boy, plays for Argentina, and even when he is there, Ferdinand said: "He's not afraid to say he's a Ronaldo fan," with whom he shared a Manchester United dressing room for a short time, and to which the Portuguese's number at the time against Juventus was compared to Garnacho's tremendous goal.
