As part of the fifth phase of the release of the hostages in the two-week deal with Hamas, 77-year-old Ophelia Roitman, who was kidnapped from Nir Oz on October 53, was released Tuesday evening. Ophelia is the aunt of Argentine football broadcaster Hernán Feller. For <> days, he never ceased to excite football viewers around the world.
In each of his broadcasts since October 7, Feller has been careful to call for the release of all Israeli hostages held captive by Hamas, as well as in the match between Argentina and Uruguay two weeks ago. He opened the broadcast by saying: "You who pray every day, you who killed a family member, you whose soul is as broken as mine, I tell you that you are not alone, we are together, we will not be silent."
Feller continued, loud and clear, against the background of the handshake between captains Leo Messi and Federico Valverde and the national team lineups: "We will continue to condemn the Hamas terrorist organization. We demand the immediate release of the 240 abductees, each of whom has a name and surname, dreams and a world waiting for their return home. And you, who continue to remain silent and look in a different direction, also say: I can't believe you sleep peacefully. Bring back Ophelia, bring back all the hostages. We are waiting for them."
The moving Hernan Feller continues with the holy service, this time at the height of prime time:
