Another evening of major European events! If RC Lens travels to London, to face the Premier League leader, Arsenal, and is likely to be relegated to the Europa League, the other matches of this Wednesday evening are also promising, the day after a first part of the 5th matchday which saw four clubs validate their ticket for the 8th.
Group A: Bayern and the others
The Bavarian giants have already qualified for the round of 8 and are guaranteed to finish first, but there is still a ticket in Group A. It remains to be seen which of Manchester United, Galatasaray and Copenhagen will take their place. In last place, the Red Devils must win against the Turkish club... in Turkey. If they lose tonight, Erik Ten Hag's men will have to say goodbye to the Champions League and play for their place in the Europa League against Bayern Munich at Old Trafford on Matchday 6.
Copenhagen, on the other hand, travel to Germany and can still believe in qualification if United beat Galatasaray, against whom they would play a final for second place in this scenario.

Group C: Napoli play big
The reigning Italian champions travel to Madrid, at the Santiago Bernabeu, to face the leaders of the La Liga table. The Merengues, who have already qualified for the round of 8, can secure first place with a win or a draw. If the outcome of the match were to be a draw, Napoli would also qualify as runners-up provided Braga did not beat Union Berlin.

If the Portuguese were to win over their German counterpart, they would be guaranteed a place in the Europa League, but can hope for the round of 8 if Napoli lose or draw in Madrid. In this scenario, a final for qualification would be played on the 1th and final matchday between Napoli and Braga, at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

Braga (Por) - Union Berlin (Ger)
Group D: Battle for first place
Which of Real Sociedad and Inter Milan will finish top of Group D? For the time being, both teams have the same number of points (10) and have already qualified for the round of 8. Sociedad host RB Salzburg in 3rd place (1 point) and Inter travel to Lisbon to face Benfica in 4th place (0 points). If the two leaders were to win tonight, they would play a final for 1st place on Matchday 6, at Guiseppe Meazza, advantage to Inter. Benfica are yet to win in this group. The quarter-finalists of the last edition could still hope for the C3, as early as tonight or in the worst case, in a "small" final against Salzburg on Matchday 6.
