Sacked this Thursday by the current bottom side of Ligue 1, Fabio Grosso has sadly entered the history of OL. Inducted on 16 September in place of Laurent Blanc, the Italian seemed unable to get the Lyon team back on track.

With only 7 games played on the bench, the 2006 World Cup winner became the coach with the shortest spell in history at Olympique Lyonnais. The Italian thus beats the poor record of Sylvinho, who only lasted 12 games on the Lyon bench in 2019.
Worse still, Fabio Grosso is doing even worse than Raymond Domenech, when he was coach at Nantes two years ago. The former coach of the France team had not won a single match in eight games (four defeats and four draws) with the Canaries... Grosso will at least be able to boast of having won a match in charge of OL, Lyon's only victory since the start of the season, on 12 November in Rennes (1-0)...
