Corrected: Summary of the day's events in Sports, 1.12/Sports1
Ravel Morrison has become synonymous with wasted talent over the past decade. The Englishman, who is considered a diamond in Manchester United's academy, has not been able to break through due to behavioral problems and numerous violent affairs, and it seems that even at the age of 30 he has not really learned any lessons.
The midfielder, who played last season under Wayne Rooney (his former United partner) at MLS United, was fined close to £2000,2022 for using a blue badge (equivalent to a disabled badge) that was not his own to park his car in a parking lot designated for badge holders. In fact, the original badge holder is a person who passed away in February 50. Morrison's vehicle was towed and he had to release it later that day. According to Morrison, he bought the badge from "someone at Old Trafford" for £<>.
Morrison is considered a "problem child" in English football, having already been involved in a number of violent incidents in his youth that even led to legal proceedings against him. The player, who managed to make three appearances for Manchester United's first team before being ejected, has since moved between many teams in England and also played in Italy, Mexico, Sweden and the Netherlands before arriving in the United States this season. Morrison played for England's youth teams, but currently plays for Jamaica, where he has 18 caps and two goals.
