Recap: Partek vs Red Star Belgrade 1:0/Sport1
Red Star beat Nefredek 0-1 on Sunday to reduce the gap to Partizan at the top to 3 points, but nothing seems to please the Serbian media, who have marked a circle around the target.
"Mr. Behar, you're finished!" insisted Blick on Monday morning, which has been leading the campaign against Behar in recent weeks and frequently publishes columns critical and venomous of him. This time, the website looked at the club's profits versus expenses during Behar's tenure, claiming that the numbers "cast Behar in a ridiculous light, demonstrating his true value."
According to their calculations, including Behar's salary, the salaries of his assistants, the money spent on procurement during his tenure and the bonuses due to Maccabi Haifa as part of the agreement on his release, he "cost" the club about 13.3 million euros.
"Behar cost the club 13.3 million euros, and brings him zero benefit," they wrote, comparing them to former coaches who have yielded higher profits, mainly through better results in Europe.

"Bachar acts like he works a 9:00-17:00 p.m. job. He stays in the office for a while, and goes on his way. Without any emotion, without any reaction during the game, with arms crossed and a look that does not convey confidence to the players," they wrote, and even compared and found that Behar averaged up to 1.95 points per game as coach of Red Star – a weak record compared to his predecessors.
"Bachar got everything he wanted, and did nothing about it. Unfortunately, the game that Red Star fans will remember most from him is his victory against them, as coach of Maccabi Haifa," they added.
HotSport claimed that there is another factor "stressing Behar" - Vladen Milojević, who coached Red Star between 2017 and 2019, resigned from his position at Apollon Limassol and became a free agent.
"This is the coach Red Star fans expect," they wrote. Milojevic is considered the darling of the fans, while Behar's status is weakening. If Behar doesn't beat Partizan in the derby, he could lose his job and Milojevic is undoubtedly on alert."
