Diawusie only returned to Jahn Regensburg in the summer after nine years
Agyemang Diawusie last played for Jahn Regensburg on Matchday 14 at the beginning of November in the match against 1860 Munich. While the 25-year-old was still on the substitutes' bench against Ulm a week later, Diawusie was not part of Jahn Regensburg's squad for the first time this season against Dynamo Dresden at the weekend.
The winger already played for the Jahn in his youth, but left the club in 2014. The former German youth international made his way to Leipzig via the youth team of FC Nürnberg. In January, Diawusie moved from Austria from SV Ried to SpVgg Bayreuth, before returning to his boyhood club in Regensburg in the summer. This season, the attacker has made 16 appearances for Jahn. His cousin Ransford Königsdörffer is also a professional footballer and is under contract with Hamburger SV in the 2nd Bundesliga.
