Frankfurt plays at home against Bayern on Saturday. FCB coach Tuchel had words of praise for the SGE and coach Toppmöller in the pre-match press conference.
Munich – Eintracht Frankfurt host FC Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Saturday from 15:30 CEST. In the pre-match press conference, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel spoke positively about Eintracht and their coach Dino Toppmöller.
Eintracht Frankfurt have picked up just one point from their last three Bundesliga games, losing their last four games. Nevertheless, Tuchel expects a strong opponent. "It's going to be a tough game with a lot of work to do," he said.
Tuchel on Frankfurt: "Very good, very fast, very flexible team"
On Wednesday, Frankfurt lost to third-division side 1. FC Saarbrücken in the round of 30 of the DFB Cup. Frankfurt didn't look good and couldn't register a single shot on goal in the first <> minutes.
Despite the defeat, Tuchel is aware of the qualities of the SBU: "When I analyse Frankfurt, I don't see the four defeats. Is probably also extremely unsatisfactory from their point of view. I see a very good, very fast, very flexible team with a clear signature."

Frankfurt coach Toppmöller was assistant coach at FC Bayern
Frankfurt coach Dino Toppmöller knows Bayern's team. He was Julian Nagelsmann's assistant coach at FCB until April. "He certainly knows our players very well," Tuchel said at the press conference. "We can't leave everyone out who worked with him."
The style of the SGE coach is clearly recognisable, only victories are lacking at the moment, according to Tuchel. What Frankfurt has shown in the last few games does not fit with the results. That's why FC Bayern have to give their full performance on Saturday. "I hope I can get that across to the team," Tuchel said.

FC Bayern had nine days off – Tuchel: "Curse or blessing, I don't know"
FC Bayern Munich had the last Bundesliga matchday off because the game against Union Berlin had been cancelled. The game is scheduled to be rescheduled for the end of January. To what extent this will have an influence on the game against Eintracht Frankfurt, Tuchel could not say: "Curse or blessing, I don't know."
FC Bayern are currently in second place in the Bundesliga table. Three points separate the record champions from leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Frankfurt are seventh in the table, two points behind TSG Hoffenheim. (mag)
