'We're not afraid': Luis Campos confident ahead of PSG's trip to Dortmund

Highlights: Paris Saint-Germain's sporting director Luis Campos is confident ahead of Dortmund match. PSG face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday. A defeat for the Parisians would see them eliminated from the competition. The Paris Saint-Germain sporting director said he was excited ahead of this match, which could condemn the Parisians in the Champions League

The pressure is mounting. In four days' time, Paris Saint-Germain will travel to Dortmund for a match full of dangers. The Parisians will have no room for error in this last match of the group stage of the Champions League. A defeat, coupled with a win for Milan or Newcastle in their clash, would eliminate Luis Enrique and his men. A draw might not be enough if Newcastle win.

But Luis Campos, PSG's sporting director, is not worried. Before the match between his club and Nantes on Saturday evening, the Portuguese was even quite confident at the microphone of Canal +. "We're not scared (before Dortmund)," he said. We don't have a short-term project, it's a medium- or long-term project. The whole club is behind this team, these are exciting games to play. It's going to make us grow. If we go through, after the great competitiveness of our group games in the Champions League, we will be ready for the rest of the competition. »

Luis Campos also spoke about two other hot topics on the Parisian side: the probable arrival of Brazilian nugget Gabriel Moscardo and the new shareholder, Arctos Partners. "PSG is obliged to be informed of all the great talents in the world. But nothing is signed yet," he said of the Brazilian.

The sporting director was more vocal about the new American investor. "For me, it's fantastic," he said. I came into French football at the same time as QSI bought PSG. They bought him for €70 million, now the club is worth €4 billion. The president has done a huge job of promoting the club. »
