Launched in lane 2 of this final and for a long time confined to fourth place, Philippe Lucas' pupil achieved a superb last 50m freestyle to win this new medal. Only Great Britain's Abbie Wood managed to beat her.

Grousset wins bronze in the 50m butterfly

At just 18 years old, Mary-Ambre Moluh took the bronze medal in the 100m backstroke with a time of 57.10 seconds, in a race dominated by Kira Toussaint of the Netherlands (55.88) and Medi Harris of Great Britain (56.81).
