Just before the Premier Soccer League match between Maccabi Haifa and Beitar Jerusalem on Sunday evening, a moving ceremony was held to light the fourth candle of Hanukkah, attended by several family members of two of the abductees in Gaza, who have been held captive by the Hamas terrorist organization since October 7.

The ceremony, which of course was intended to raise awareness of the abductees, was attended by the children of 75-year-old Alex Danzig, who was abducted on Black Saturday from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz, and the family of 30-year-old Doron Steinbrecher, who was also abducted to Gaza from her home in Kibbutz Kfar Azza.
