Conclusion:
FC Bayern survived a wild final phase in which Augsburg was awarded two penalties but was only able to convert one and ultimately won 3-2 in Augsburg.
The record champions actually had everything under control after Kane's goal in the 58th minute.
Two inattentions from Neuer and Müller suddenly bring Augsburg back into the game.
In the end, the Munich team trembled to a very important three points and came away with another black eye.

After a fine pass from Sané, the Frenchman runs alone towards Dahmen's goal, wants to shoot the ball into the right corner, but only hits the right inside post.
That should have been the decision!

FCA doesn't want to give up the game here, but ends a promising counterattack far too sloppily.

58th minute: Gooooorr for Bayern through Kane!! A rebound reaches the Englishman and all he has to do is push the ball over the line from a short distance. At first there was confusion about the goal as referee Dingert called the goal back for offside. However, after checking it counts! FCB leads 3-1.
52nd minute: Goal for Augsburg! Demirovic shortened the score to 1:2. This was far too easy from the FCA’s point of view! Mbabu can calmly send a sharp cross into the Munich penalty area on the right and finds Demirovic as a receiver. The Augsburg striker hits the ball perfectly and heads it into the left corner of the goal.
48th minute:
Unusual picture for Harry Kane - the Englishman stumbles on the ball during a promising attack and then commits an offensive foul.
So far it's not the striker's game.

Half time:
FC Bayern leads by two goals, although Augsburg were in control in the early stages.
First, from the FCA's perspective, a penalty was not given, then an offside goal did not count.
Bayern then found their way into the game better and took control of the game.
The lead then followed a standard situation - youngster Pavlovic used a rebound to take the lead.
Shortly before the break, Davies increased the score again with a remarkable goal from distance - and even with his right foot.
45th minute + 5: Great for Bayern! Great goal by Davies! 2:0 for FCB! Shortly before the break, Bayern again with a determined attack via Goretzka, who passed to Davies. The Canadian moves inside and shoots from around 20 meters, his shot hits the bottom left of Dahmen's goal.

Munich once again with an attempt by Harry Kane, of whom little has been seen yet.
Sané serves the Englishman with a through ball on the right side.
Kane tries it from a tight angle in the penalty area, but his shot goes past Dahmen's box to the left.

Due to the numerous interruptions, there is five minutes of added time.

Striking: Dier is doing a very good job here so far.
The Englishman impresses with his confident passing game and is already giving commands to Bayern's defense center.

Bayern now have more overall control of the game and are trying to bring calm into the game.
Vargas in particular is playing well for Augsburg so far.
The Swiss can be found almost everywhere on the pitch and tries to put Demirovic in the spotlight.
However, his pass is too imprecise and ends up in the net.

Augsburg first has to shake itself after falling behind.
Rexhbecaj tries a low shot in the penalty area.
But his attempt is far too central and therefore not a problem for Neuer.

After the Munich team celebrated their goal, the next piece of bad news came: Coman was injured and needed to be supported.
The Frenchman can no longer play.
That doesn't look good at all.

23rd minute: Gooooool for Bayern!! Pavlovic scores! After a corner by Guerreiro, the youngster's rebound lands a meter in front of the Augsburg goal. Pavlovic hits the ball into the top net from close range. 1-0 for the record champions.

The subsequent standard situation on the left side for Bayern is harmless; Sané's cross reaches Dier, who is in the center - but the Englishman is offside.

The hosts got off to an energetic start in the first quarter of an hour.
Bayern have already had luck on their side twice and still seem a bit sleepy here.
Despite the staff shortage, more needs to be done if the three away points are to ultimately work.

As is well known, Thomas Müller is sitting on the bench today.
Thomas Tuchel explained his decision to Sky with a smile: "He's not a trained right-back and he's not a trained central defender either."
Update from January 27th, 3:06 p.m.:
Bayern have already collected 44 points in the Bundesliga before the away game at FCA, making them the strongest runner-up of all time.
But it also shows how strong the Leverkusen team is this season.
The Werkself currently have 48 points and face Borussia Mönchengladbach in today's top game at 6:30 p.m.

Who can Bayern coach Tuchel bring off the bench today?
In addition to substitute keeper Ulreich, the veterans Choupo-Moting and Müller are also available.

As expected, new signing Eric Dier can start for the first time.
Thomas Müller, on the other hand, has to be content with a place on the bench for now.
Goretzka and Pavlovic will start in midfield, Tuchel had already announced this at the matchday PK.
Sané, Musiala and Coman should swirl up front and Harry Kane should score the goals.

Bayern challenged away in Augsburg: Bad omen for FCB?
However, from Bayern's perspective, the task at 10th in the table could be trickier than initially expected.
The FCA has recently become something of a fearsome enemy for the Munich team.
After all, Augsburg were able to score points in three of the last four Bundesliga home games against Munich.
They even won the last two duels (2:1 and 1:0).
Bayern have not lost their last two away games against any other club in the league.

There is an acute personnel shortage at FC Bayern
In addition, the record champions have an acute staff shortage.
The list of failures is long: Noussair Mazraoui, Minjae Kim, Dayot Upamecano, Joshua Kimmich, Konrad Laimer, Bouna Sarr, Serge Gnabry and substitute keeper Daniel Peretz are all unable to play.
Thomas Tuchel's team sets itself up almost by itself.
After all, there will soon be reinforcements in the defensive area: Frenchman Sacha Boey was spotted at the medical check this Saturday and is therefore close to signing with FCB.
