Manchester City player Kyle Walker admits in an interview to "The Sun" that he made "idiot choices and idiotic decisions" when he cheated on his wife and had two children with another woman.
In addition, the 33-year-old defender said that in order to escape the media, he was very close to moving to Bayern Munich, but regretted it because he did not want to leave his family in England.
Since then, Walker has been living alone in a £3million rental property after fathering a second child out of wedlock with model Lauryn Goodman and almost completely destroying his family life. He has also issued an apology to his mother-of-three and ex-wife Annie.
Walker told The Sun: "What I've done is terrible and I take full responsibility. I can't begin to think or imagine what Annie is going through. I've tried to ask her but there's pain. The only person to blame is me. I have roles and responsibilities that I'm aware of and I've done Stupid choices. I have to own up to my mistakes - I owe it to everyone."

Walker explained that he decided to talk about things for his family: "My actions caused a lot of people pain. I'm sorry because as a family this shouldn't happen. In football I achieved more than I ever thought I would achieve. But to personally hurt someone who I truly believe is my best friend, That's what hurts a lot."
Annie later agreed to welcome Walker back into the family home for the sake of their children, admitting: "How can I hate the man my children love so much?"
