School benches in the small town of Château-d'Œx in Switzerland, dreaming of their father Mike Horn's expeditions in the Andes, on the Arctic Circle or in the Karakoram (mountain range in northern Pakistan , from India and western China), to the desert of Jordan, last November, when they completed the Sand Half Marathon.
One hundred and twenty km of walking in the protected area of Wadi Rum, zigzagging through the sandstone mountains that the two sisters, aged 29 and 30, completed in the same second, after twenty hours of effort.
