Things are looking up a bit in terms of sport, but off the pitch the power struggle at TSV 1860 is raging between the investors and the club.

Munich - Indiscretions through leaked emails are the order of the day at TSV 1860 Munich.

Even die-hard lion fans now find it difficult to keep track of all the chaos around Grünwalder Straße 114.

Things probably won't get any better, as a detailed interview by Yahya Ismaik, brother of investor Hasan Ismaik, suggests.

“The president, in my opinion, is exerting undue and almost malevolent influence.”

Yahya Ismaik's assessment of Robert Reisinger.

The supervisory board member's accusations towards President Robert Reisinger are violent.

“In my opinion, the president is exercising an undue and almost malicious influence,” complains Ismaik on t-online, referring to the 50+1 rule that the club recently used when appointing Christian Werner.

“He also seems to be hungry for attention and has an almost unbridled ego.

This type of influence, if exercised unchecked, is extremely dangerous.

For us as financiers, it’s about making the best decisions for the football company.”

Looking at his brother's entry in May 2011, Yahya Ismaik says that the collaboration was difficult from the start and that the current situation is nothing new for the investors.

Dieter Schneider, who died in 2017 and was president of Löwen until 2013, had already demonstrated the “dishonesty and duplicity of the eV”.

“Instead of sticking to the cooperation agreement, he blocked us in order to supposedly show us our limits.”

“Giving up is a word that doesn’t exist in his lexicon.”

Yahya Ismaik about Brother Hasan.

A verbal foul because Schneider can no longer defend himself against the accusations.

But the current head of the lion, because Robert Reisinger is pursuing “the same strategy” as Schneider.

“As was the case then, we have to wait until conditions in the eV normalize and the eV is ready to work together again.”

Brother Yahya clearly rejects the recurring rumors that Ismaik could say goodbye to his investment at some point, even if the club has to compete in the Bavarian Regional League next season: “Hasan is first and foremost a fan and will continue to be involved and be patient.

Giving up is a word that doesn't exist in his lexicon.

Anyone who hopes that relegation will cause them to lose interest is very much mistaken.” (Jörg Bullinger)
