Robert Ramsak is about to leave FC Bayern.

At the weekend, the U17 world champion was completely unexpectedly removed from the Munich A-Junior squad.

Munich – From world champion to grandstand guest.

Last December, Robert Ramsak (17) won the World Cup trophy with the German U17 national team in Indonesia.

Just a few weeks later, the attacker was left out of FC Bayern's A-Junior squad.

On Saturday against Stuttgart, Ramsak, who has scored five goals in ten league games so far, was, to the surprise of many observers, missing from both the starting line-up and the substitutes' bench - although he is not injured.

But why?

According to

tz

information, FC Bayern and Ramsak have not yet been able to agree on an extension of his contract, which expires in the summer.

It is possible that the Munich team is relying on other talents who have confirmed themselves as record champions beyond the current season.

Ramsak is disappointed about not being nominated, but takes the decision professionally.

However, the striker fears that he may lose his place in the German youth national team in the spring due to the limited prospect of playing time at FC Bayern.

When asked by

tz

, Bayern Campus announced that Ramsak would be back in the squad for the game in Augsburg on Saturday.

Bayern talent Ramsak is apparently sought after abroad and in the Bundesliga

“During the contract negotiations there were different opinions about Robert’s development opportunities.

That's why we couldn't agree.

What’s important is that it’s not about finances,” confirms Ramsak’s advisor, Duro Bozanovic, in an interview with

tz

.

The player would like to prove himself in professional football in a timely manner.

FC Bayern cannot guarantee him this prospect in the first team.

Other interested clubs do.

“He has offers from top clubs in Italy, Spain and the Bundesliga,” reveals Bozanovic.

According to media reports, Red Bull Salzburg, RB Leipzig, FC Genoa, Ajax Amsterdam, Benfica Lisbon, FC Sevilla and Dinamo Zagreb, among others, have expressed their interest in signing him.

But Bozanovic also says: “Nevertheless, FC Bayern will always play a role for Robert as a Munich player.”

Ramsak is waiting in vain for a professional opportunity at FC Bayern

However, Ramsak's sporting future lies elsewhere.

His final decision should be made soon.

Another good reason why he has not yet extended his working paper at FC Bayern: Comparatively expensive talents from abroad are repeatedly hired on campus.

In contrast to the homegrown players, these players often immediately have the opportunity to train regularly with the professionals or are allowed to travel to training camp.

Ramsak has been waiting in vain for this opportunity in Munich.

Despite his disappointment, the top talent, whose movements have already been compared to Thomas Müller (34), would have been interested in staying with the record champions.

In any case, he will fulfill his contract, which is valid until the summer.

Before his move, the U17 world and European champions will be graduating from school in June at the municipal Theodolinden Gymnasium in Harlaching.
