It’s a race that punchers and sprinters love.
From Tuesday January 30 to Saturday February 3, the runners will set off in the AlUla region to compete in the five stages
of the Tour of Saudi Arabia and thus try to succeed Maxim Van Gils, suspended 25 days for hitting a competitor at the end of the sprint during the Japan Cup Criterium last October.
Seven teams are entered, including the Cofidis team, notably with the French Bryan Coquart, Eddy Finé and Axel Mariaul.
Dylan Groenewegen (Team Jayco – AlUla), who already won two stages last year, Pascal Ackermann (UAE Team Emirates), Tim Merlier (Soudal Quick-Step), and Davide Formolo (Movistar) will try to compete with Simon Yates ( Jayco AlUla), favorite for the final victory.
