Last October, a small soccer club called Atlético Cuardil that plays in the lower leagues in Uruguay released a video in which Aguero was seen wearing the club's shirt.
The post that the group uploaded to social networks at the time read: "Did you think it was a lie? Absolutely not! Aguero is part of the butchers club! Welcome."
Although the Argentinian has not participated in the games since then, yesterday (Monday) the team listed the player in its expanded squad for the upcoming games as part of an important local tournament in which it is participating.
The connection between the team and Aguero was created, among other things, because the player owns a vacation home in the town of Punta del Este, which is close to the city of Maldonado, where the team plays.
About a year ago, the player participated in an exhibition game in the country at the time in the shirt of the Ecuadorian champion, Barcelona Sporting Club and played 18 minutes in total, even before the game he clarified: "I was examined by a cardiologist, I feel very well and I have already started training".
