Munich - Due to Bayer Leverkusen's mistake at the weekend against Borussia Mönchengladbach (0-0), FC Bayern Munich was once again able to shorten the gap to the league leaders from the Rhine with their win at FC Augsburg.
Despite the successful Bundesliga weekend, statements made by coach Thomas Tuchel at a fan meeting caused a stir.

The FC Bayern coach spoke about his future when he scored a goal with a fan club in Heidenheim: “Abroad will definitely interest me again, in general.” The coach finds the Spanish LaLiga “extraordinary” because it is characterized by “insane things self-confidence”.
The 50-year-old also obviously likes the Spanish gaming culture: “When you talk to Spanish players, you have the feeling that you talk to people very quickly and there are no empty phrases in between and no invisible wall.”
Expert Dietmar Hamann described these statements as “impudent”.
“Then he sits down and talks about Xavi, about the successor and that he would like to train in Barcelona or Spain,” criticized the former professional on the “Sky90” show.

According to Dietmar Haman, Thomas Tuchel is getting himself into trouble at FC Bayern: "If you're an employee of FC Bayern, messing with the management - that was rarely a good idea." The former national player is sure that the coach's statements didn't just slip out like that.
Then the Sky expert became more than clear: “Tuchel and Bayern Munich is the biggest misunderstanding since Jürgen Klinsmann.
It doesn't fit together and he knows that now too." The style of play and the atmosphere are the biggest problems for Munich.

Hamann also does not believe that an elimination in the Champions League against Lazio Rome is out of the question.
Despite the style of play that could be improved, Tuchel and Bayern were able to win six of their last seven competitive games.
