The official announcement of Sacha Boey as a new addition to FC Bayern is still a long time coming.
The 23-year-old is said to have successfully passed the medical check with the German record champions on Saturday.
And when will the Frenchman's signing be officially announced?
“We’ll see if we can do it today or tomorrow – hopefully at the weekend.
We didn't 'finally find someone', but our absolute dream player.
We have been dealing with him for a very long time.
If that works, we will be very happy,” said FCB sporting director Christoph Freund about Boey after Bayern’s 3-2 win against Augsburg in the mixed zone.
“He also played very well against us.

Sacha Boey's transfer to FC Bayern is probably just a formality.
As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano and Sky unanimously reported, the right-back from Galatasaray Istanbul arrived in Munich on Saturday morning (January 27th) and then went for a medical check.
The transfer fee is said to be between 28 and 29 million euros, and the 23-year-old is said to be signing until 2029. According to Sky, when he said goodbye to the Turkish club, he expressed to his teammates the hope of being in the squad for the away game against FC Augsburg that afternoon .

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed the reports from Turkey that FC Bayern and Galatasaray Istanbul have reached an agreement on the transfer of Sacha Boey.
An agreement was reached verbally, only final details remained to be clarified, said Romano.
If everything goes well, the Munich team could probably announce the new addition on Saturday.

After a long back and forth with numerous personnel changes, FC Bayern seems to have found its new right-back.
It looks like Sacha Boey will soon be wearing the Munich jersey.
According to information from Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, the negotiations have finally been concluded.
Accordingly, the selling Galatasaray and Bayern have agreed on a basic fee of 30 million euros.
Additional bonus payments may be due as part of the agreement allegedly made.

Sky transfer expert Florian Plettenberg reports that the German record champions are offering a transfer fee of 25 million euros, which could increase by five million euros through bonus payments.
The top Turkish club, on the other hand, is demanding 30 million as a fixed fee.
The negotiations are ongoing.
