The official announcement of Sacha Boey as a new addition to FC Bayern is still a long time coming.

The 23-year-old is said to have successfully passed the medical check with the German record champions on Saturday.

And when will the Frenchman's signing be officially announced?

“We’ll see if we can do it today or tomorrow – hopefully at the weekend.

We didn't 'finally find someone', but our absolute dream player.

We have been dealing with him for a very long time.

If that works, we will be very happy,” said FCB sporting director Christoph Freund about Boey after Bayern’s 3-2 win against Augsburg in the mixed zone.

“He also played very well against us.

He brings us a lot of physicality, is a good tackler and travels a lot.

He brings power to our game.”

The Frenchman's move is not yet official, the signature is still missing.

If you believe the statements of sports director Freund, then it should only be a matter of time.

FC Bayern brings in Boey: Transfer is just a formality

Update from January 27th, 8:55 a.m.:

Sacha Boey's transfer to FC Bayern is probably just a formality.

As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano and Sky unanimously reported, the right-back from Galatasaray Istanbul arrived in Munich on Saturday morning (January 27th) and then went for a medical check.

The transfer fee is said to be between 28 and 29 million euros, and the 23-year-old is said to be signing until 2029. According to Sky, when he said goodbye to the Turkish club, he expressed to his teammates the hope of being in the squad for the away game against FC Augsburg that afternoon .

However, that is unlikely.

New right-back for FC Bayern: Sacha Boey probably comes from Istanbul

Update from January 26th, 5:59 p.m.:

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed the reports from Turkey that FC Bayern and Galatasaray Istanbul have reached an agreement on the transfer of Sacha Boey.

An agreement was reached verbally, only final details remained to be clarified, said Romano.

If everything goes well, the Munich team could probably announce the new addition on Saturday.

Rumored transfer fee of 30 million euros: FCB almost agree with Gala about Boey

Update from January 26th, 4:04 p.m.:

After a long back and forth with numerous personnel changes, FC Bayern seems to have found its new right-back.

It looks like Sacha Boey will soon be wearing the Munich jersey.

According to information from Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, the negotiations have finally been concluded.

Accordingly, the selling Galatasaray and Bayern have agreed on a basic fee of 30 million euros.

Additional bonus payments may be due as part of the agreement allegedly made.

On Saturday morning at 6 a.m., Boey is supposed to go to his new employer on Säbener Strasse in order to first complete the mandatory medical examinations.

According to Sky,

Bayern and Boey have been agreeing to work together for a few weeks now.

Sacha Boey going to FC Bayern on Friday?

Thomas Tuchel speaks plainly

Update from January 26th, 2:01 p.m.:

There will apparently be no new additions to the German record champions on Friday.

“I don’t think any player will be a new player from FC Bayern today,” said head coach Thomas Tuchel about Munich’s transfer efforts.

This means that the traded Sacha Boey will not initially play on Säbener Straße.

There is time until February 1st at 6 p.m. to make new signings.

Update from January 26th, 10:37 a.m.:

Change in the transfer for Sacha Boey?

Galatasaray Istanbul has apparently banned the player from flying to Munich before an agreement on the transfer fee has been reached, as Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu of

Sports Digitale

writes.

This makes a medical check this Friday less likely.

The two clubs are currently around five million euros apart when it comes to fixed transfer fees.

Update from January 26th, 10:07 a.m.:

It is becoming increasingly likely that FC Bayern will sign Sacha Boey from Galatasaray Istanbul.

Sky transfer expert Florian Plettenberg reports that the German record champions are offering a transfer fee of 25 million euros, which could increase by five million euros through bonus payments.

The top Turkish club, on the other hand, is demanding 30 million as a fixed fee.

The negotiations are ongoing.

Sacha Boey is scheduled to complete the medical check in Munich this Friday.

At 12:20 p.m. local time, a plane apparently took off from Istanbul with the right-back on board.

He could probably land in the Bavarian capital at 1:30 p.m.

If the medical check doesn't reveal anything unusual, FC Bayern could announce the transfer today - if they can reach an agreement with Galatasaray about the transfer fee.

Boey before medical check at FC Bayern?

Update from January 26th, 8:10 a.m.:

It could happen quite quickly: Will FC Bayern get their new right-back today?

As

Bild

reports, the Frenchman is expected in Munich on Friday for a medical check.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano also looked into the matter last night.

According to the Italian, there were negotiations between the clubs on Friday night, but an agreement had not yet been reached.

Bayern are said to have already reached an agreement with the player.

As of now, other clubs are not said to have joined Boey Poker.

According to Sky, Galatasaray Istanbul's transfer demands should be around 30 million euros.

FC Bayern hopes to be able to reduce this amount.

FC Bayern agree with Sacha Boey?

Update from January 25th, 9:42 p.m

.: According to

Sky

information, Sacha Boey is about to move to FC Bayern Munich.

There should already be an oral agreement with the right-back from Galatasaray Istanbul.

Several Turkish media report an offer of 15 million euros.

The 23-year-old was not in the squad for Galatasaray's 3-1 win against Istanbulspor on Thursday - a sign of an imminent departure?

Update from January 24th, 11:26 p.m

.: Dayot Upamecano injured his left thigh in the Bundesliga game against Union Berlin and had to be substituted at halftime.

The Frenchman will be out for now.

“It’s like magic.

Since it is a torn fiber in the thigh, we are probably talking about weeks and not days,” said Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel at the press conference after the game.

Could the injury mean a new centre-back will be signed by early February?

“I expect Minjae Kim to be back fit in two weeks at the latest, then hopefully we should get through it.

We don't panic, injuries are part of a season.

We will not throw our strategy overboard because of this,” said Tuchel, ruling out a replacement.

Trippier's move to FC Bayern is off the table

Update from January 24th, 3:20 p.m.:

Will FC Bayern be active on the transfer market again?

According to Bild

information , the proposed change of Tuchel's dream player Kieran Trippier is

almost off the table.

As Sky also reported on Tuesday evening, Newcastle is said to have rejected FCB's offer (around 15 million euros).

If the

picture

is anything to go by , there will no longer be a new offer.

The Bayern bosses therefore no longer want to play poker and do not want to meet what they see as excessive demands.

That leaves Nordi Mukiele: The Frenchman has also been talked about as a new addition to Säbener Straße for weeks and is said to be pushing for a move to Munich himself.

But the 26-year-old's negotiations with the losing club, Paris St.-Germain, are also extremely tough.

Sky reports that the FCB bosses, similar to Trippier, are not prepared to dig deep into their pockets.

There are said to be internal plans not to sign a new right-back and to wait for the return of Minjae Kim (Asian Cup) and Noussair Mazraoui (Africa Cup).

Araujo move to FC Bayern?

Barca sporting director Deco makes a clear announcement

Update from January 24th, 10:55 a.m.:

Barcelona sports director Deco has put a stop to the departure of central defender Ronald Araujo from the TV channel Movistar.

“Bayern wants Ronald Araujo?

We're not thinking of selling it.

He is not for sale because he is one of the key players in Barca's future," said the former world-class midfielder.

And further: “He has a long contract and we are not thinking of selling him.

He shows every day that he is happy here.

There is nothing to talk about.” In recent weeks there has been repeated speculation about a possible move for the Uruguayan to the Isar.

The defender recently denied a phone call between Araujo and FCB sports director Christoph Freund that was said to have taken place a few weeks ago.

The Munich team could make a new move next summer, but a transfer is apparently off the table in the current transfer window.

According to Bild

-Pocast “Bayern Insider” , Barca is said to have rejected a Bayern offer of around 75 million euros

Right-back wanted: FC Bayern is probably turning down an offer for Trippier

Update from January 23rd, 9 p.m.:

In courting Kieran Trippier, FC Bayern has apparently been rejected by Trippier's employer Newcastle United with an improved offer.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Munich team is said to have offered around 15 million euros as a transfer fee.

Sky

reports a sum of 15 to 16 million euros.

Apparently not enough for the Magpies, who, according to Romano and various English media, rejected the offer.

Bayern had actually wanted a decision on the transfer for Tuesday, but negotiations are now set to continue over the next few days.

First report from January 23rd, 2 p.m.:

Munich – FC Bayern Munich wants to sign a new right-back by the beginning of February and has probably decided on a candidate.

Kieran Trippier is set to move from Newcastle United to Säbener Straße.

After Harry Kane and Eric Dier, he would be the next England international in head coach Thomas Tuchel's squad.

FC Bayern Munich is pushing ahead with squad planning

According to

Bild

information, the Bayern bosses are very optimistic that Trippier's transfer will work.

A decision about a move to Munich should be made this Tuesday, as FC Bayern is apparently putting pressure on the transfer to be completed.

The 33-year-old is considered Thomas Tuchel's absolute dream player, who would like to have him as an alternative at the back right in the squad.

Noussair Mazraoui is currently with the Morocco national team at the Africa Cup of Nations and will still miss several games for the German record champions.

Newcastle United are apparently anything but reluctant to let Trippier leave in the winter - although not on loan.

The Premier League club only wants to sell the right-back and is demanding a transfer fee of between ten and 15 million euros, as

Bild

reports.

Trippier before moving to FC Bayern?

The reason for rejecting a loan deal is that Newcastle urgently needs transfer income to avoid problems with UEFA over Financial Fair Play.

In addition to the transfer fee in the double-digit million range, FC Bayern Munich would also have to pay the English international's lavish salary - the transfer would not be a bargain for FCB.

Another alternative in the right-back position is still Nordi Mukiele.

According to Sky information, Bayern have still not achieved a transfer breakthrough, which is why they are concentrating on Trippier for the time being and will decide on Tuesday whether there will be a change.
