Beyond sports, or maybe a little before it in some cases, NBA teams are a financial business, and as in any business, the goal is to make as much money as possible.
One of the most significant ways in which the best league team in the world generates income is the sale of merchandise, and first and foremost - the players' jerseys.
Today (Tuesday), the league revealed the list of the 15 players who sold the most jerseys this season.
The list is led by Steph Curry, who despite a bad season for the Golden State Warriors is still considered one of the biggest stars in the world.
In second place is Jayson Tatum from the Boston Celtics, leaving LeBron James in third place only.

The one who stands in the fourth and honorable place is Victor Wambanyama, the French rookie aroused a lot of interest in the world even before he was selected in the draft by the San Antonio Spurs, and in the meantime justifies his choice on the field, and off it.
The starting five is closed by Yanis Antetokounmpo who was ahead of Luka Doncic who was in sixth place, a total of four European players entered the list with Nikola Jokic settling for 14th place.
The biggest surprise comes from the direction of the Philadelphia 76ers. Despite having a record season personally and being the undisputed star of the team, Joel Embiid, who is at number 12 on the list, is not the player who sold the most jerseys of the Sixers, as Tyrese Maxey was ahead of him and took the ninth place .
