It's not every night that two Israeli players meet in a Euroleague game that doesn't include Maccabi Tel Aviv, tonight (Tuesday) it happened, when Fenerbahce with Yam Medar played host to Villarvan and Noam Yaakov, but despite the spicy encounter, the two Israelis didn't really affect the game.
Yam Medar, who is in a not very good time since the Shagiv Yehezkel case exploded, sat on the bench for the entire 40 minutes and did not get a chance to influence the game.
Noam Yaakov, on the other hand, gained the trust of his new coach Pierre Popot, but was unable to influence the game and in all the 9 minutes in which his partner Minut threw twice and did not score, gave a single assist and in his minutes on the floor Villervan lost by 3 points.
The one who did influence the game is Jonathan Motley, who led Sharas's apprentices to an important victory with 24 points, and 3 rebounds in 23 minutes.
Fenerbahce equalized 9:15.
Scotty Wilbikin added 17 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists.
Mike Scott stood out on the French side with 26 points.
