Summary: Liverpool - Chelsea 1:4/Sport1
The 22nd round in the Premier League reached its climax tonight (Wednesday) when Liverpool continued to prove that they deserve first place with an impressive 1:4 victory over Chelsea.
Manchester City had no difficulty in 2:3 against Burnley, Tottenham turned a deficit into 2:3 against Brentford.
Liverpool - Chelsea 1:4
In the last 8 meetings between the teams, Liverpool failed to win in 90 minutes.
Although two games ended in winning the League Cup and the FA Cup, but 7 games ended without a decision in a draw and another single victory for Chelsea.
Jurgen Klopp and his players arrived at Anfield with these dismal statistics, and they changed it in an instant.
The coach again put together the 20-year-old Connor Bradley at the expense of Trent Alexander Arnold, and the right defender returned him with a huge performance.
Bradley set up the first for Diego Jota in the 23rd minute, scored his own debut goal in the 39th minute and set up Dominic Soboslai for the Reds' third in the 65th minute.
In between, Darwin Nunes managed to miss a penalty before halftime when he kicked Cora and Christopher Ankonko who returned from injury came on as a substitute for Zimek in the 71st minute.
Despite the Blues' goal and Nunez's many misses, the Uruguayan scored for Luis Dias in the 79th minute for the fourth of the Mighty Reds, who proved once again that Klopp's "last dance" could well end with the championship title, with the gap from second-placed Manchester City standing at 5 points , with a game missing for the champion.
A one boy show.
