15:25 - Hapoel Tel Aviv exercised the option in Des Wells' contract
Hapoel Tel Aviv announced today (Wednesday) the extension of the contract of the guard/forward Des Wells (31, 1.96) with the team until the end of the season.
Since joining the team, Wells has recorded 9.8 points per league game, while in the Eurocup he has averaged 14.8 points and 3.6 rebounds so far.
Hapoel's coach, Danny Franco: "Dez joined us and immediately proved what we knew about him as a person and as a player. Dez's commitment and desire to fit in and be part of the team lineup will help us a lot in the challenges ahead this season."
