Update from January 31st, 10:06 a.m.:
What else is happening at Eintracht Frankfurt on the transfer market?
There isn't much time left, the Bundesliga's winter transfer window closes on February 1st at 6 p.m.
The telephone lines to Markus Krösche's office are likely to be glowing during these hours - because there are definitely signs that another player is coming.
The situation surrounding France's jewel striker Hugo Ekitike is quite complex.
Eintracht's interest has been reported for weeks, but there doesn't seem to be an agreement with Paris St. Germain yet.
What is the current standing?
A report from England caused a stir on January 30th: According to Dom Smith from the British
Evening Standard,
the SGE had secured a loan from Ekitike.
The Hessians would have prevailed in the race with Wolverhampton Wanderers, who were also interested.

The report shows that the Frankfurters were successful with their third offer to PSG.
But the fact is at the moment: Ekitike is not yet a Eintracht Frankfurt player.
It has not been confirmed whether everything is really clear about the loan deal.
As SGE-affiliated journalist Christopher Michel writes for
fussball.news
, it is still unclear whether the Ekitike transfer will still work.
Eintracht transfer news: Jens Petter Hauge shortly before departure
First report from January 30th:
Frankfurt – The winter transfer window will close in a few days.
Until then, Eintracht Frankfurt is still aiming for changes.
Jens Petter Hauge and Paxten Aaronson are said to be leaving the club, while defender Willian Pacho is arousing interest.
But he probably won't leave the SGE in the winter.

Jens Petter Hauge's former club FK Bodo/Glimt is said to have won the contract, at least that's what
Bild
reports .
Accordingly, FC Toulouse would lose out.
The League 1 club had also shown great interest in the offensive player, who never really took off at Eintracht Frankfurt and therefore only made a few appearances this season.
According to the Bild
report , the Norwegians want to loan Hauge
until the end of the season, and a purchase option worth four to five million euros is also being discussed.

Eintracht transfer news: Top English clubs interested in defensive ace
The young American Paxten Aaronson is - similar to Hauge - dissatisfied with his playing time, which is why, according to
Bild
, Eintracht Frankfurt is looking for a loan.
Specific clubs are not named, but there are said to be interested parties from abroad.
SGE defender Willian Pacho is playing big at Eintracht Frankfurt this season and is said to be on the list at several top English clubs.
However , as
Bild
reports, a departure in winter is unlikely.
The clubs, especially Tottenham Hotspur, would like to deal with Pacho's personality intensively in the summer.
However, it is unclear whether Eintracht is ready to give up the defender again.
Last minute agreement?
Eintracht Frankfurt's turn to Ekitike
Shortly before the end of the transfer period, Eintracht Frankfurt could sign another striker.
According to information from the pay-TV broadcaster
Sky,
there is now an agreement between Eintracht Frankfurt and the players' side.
Ekitike should forego a lot of salary and only receive three million euros gross from the SGE instead of seven.
However, the deal has not yet been completed; negotiations must continue with PSG regarding a transfer fee.
It remains to be seen whether the deal will be concluded at the last minute.
