Former skier Tina Weirather experienced a number of sporting highlights, and now came one of a more private nature.

As Radio Liechtenstein reported on Monday (January 29), citing information from the former skier, Weirather gave birth to her first child.

The son is named Lio and was born in Grabs Hospital.
Both Weirather herself and her newborn are doing well, it is said.
Until shortly before the birth, Weirather had been commentating on ski races for Swiss Radio and only took a break from work almost three weeks ago.

Weirather demonstrated that she is not at a loss for jokes when she announced her pregnancy.
