Noussair Mazraoui and Morocco were surprisingly eliminated from the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Bayern star made his comeback.

Noussair Mazraoui made his comeback in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.
After a seven-week injury break, the full-back was immediately back in the starting line-up for the Atlas Lions.
However, it didn't help the World Cup semi-finalists.
Morocco was completely unexpectedly eliminated from the competition after a 2-0 defeat against outsiders South Africa.
This is good news for FC Bayern.
Because Mazroui will return to the German record champions sooner than expected.
The 28-year-old was on the pitch for 78 minutes against South Africa.
In Munich he will probably fight with new signing Sacha Boey for the regular right-back spot in the next few weeks.

Noussair Mazraoui will be ready for action again in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations (January 30), when Morocco meets South Africa.

The 28-year-old tore a muscle bundle in his calf in the Champions League game against Manchester United in mid-December.
The Moroccan team doctor then assumed a downtime of three to four weeks, while Bayern spoke of six weeks.
Mazraoui has now not played a competitive game for a good seven weeks.
FC Bayern signs Sacha Boey as Mazraoui's replacement
It is questionable whether an immediate starting eleven makes sense.
Already at the 2022 World Cup, Morocco had not exactly handled the Bayern star's health in an exemplary manner.
Mazraoui missed the World Cup quarter-finals due to a corona infection, but was back in action in the semi-finals.
The full-back was subsequently diagnosed with pericarditis and Mazraoui was missing from Bayern for weeks.
Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel feared two weeks ago that something similar could happen this time too.
Following the injuries to Konrad Laimer and Dayot Upamecano, Tuchel's defensive concerns have continued to increase since then.
After all, FCB recently signed a new right-back in Sacha Boey.
Due to a lack of alternatives, the Frenchman will probably be thrown into the deep end - at least until Mazraoui returns.
As long as he is healthy.
