When one of the best teams in the NBA comes to Washington, the outcome is almost a foregone conclusion.
The game in which the Wizards hosted the Los Angeles Clippers was not a surprise either, and Danny Avdia's team was defeated 125:109, this when one of the stars of the Clippers, Paul George, did not play.
As in each of the Israeli's four games under his new coach Brian Keefe, Avdia got only 26 minutes, in which he scored 13 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and gave 3 assists.
In his minutes on the floor, the Wizards lost by 33 points.
Kyle Kuzma excelled with 27 points on 50% from the field, Bilal Coulibaly, who was jumped to the top five in place of the sick Jordan Paul, added 19 and Corey Kispert contributed 16 points of his own.
Kawhi Leonard excelled on the winning side with 31 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
Avdia and the Wizards will host faltering Miami from Friday to Saturday, and then a particularly difficult series of games awaits them - Phoenix, Cleveland, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas, New Orleans, Denver, Oklahoma City, Cleveland, Golden State, Los Angeles Lakers.
