Marc Gasol played 13 seasons in the NBA, 13 seasons in which for the most part he was considered one of the tallest in the world when he starred in the Memphis Grizzlies uniform, and he also got paid accordingly.

Over the years, he won many sponsorships that added to his success, one of the most prominent of which is the giant company Nike, which pocketed over 10 million dollars.
The company even produced special shoes for Mark and his brother Pau.
The famous basketball player also gave back in a big way to the community.
In 2013, together with his brother, he founded the Gasol Foundation, which dealt with reducing obesity among children by promoting a healthy lifestyle.

In 2014 he decided to re-establish Girona where he played before going to the NBA.
According to the reports, Gasol invested about 10 million euros in the restoration of the club that was dismantled in 2013, returned it to the first division in Spain and even played there in the last months of his career before officially announcing his retirement yesterday (Wednesday).
According to estimates, Gasol intends to invest additional sums of money in the club in order to bring it to the top of Spanish basketball.
