The Washington Wizards and Danny Avdia hosted the Los Angeles Clippers tonight (between Wednesday and Thursday), when the first 10,000 spectators at the entrance to the hall received toy dolls in the image of the Israeli.
Avdia got a total of 26 minutes and returned with 13 points and 3 assists.
A dispute arose regarding the number of rebounds by Avdia.
At the beginning of the third quarter, when James Harden missed a layup at 11:01, the Israeli jumped on the ball that splashed off the board and after an impressive fight with Mason Plumlee managed to take it, and even squeeze a foul, when no other player from the Wizards was in the area.
But despite this, the statisticians in the hall recorded the rebound as a "team rebound", and therefore the Israeli finished the game with 5 rebounds to his credit.
@nbastats How is this a team rebound?

But this was not the only move that aroused the interest of the viewers in which Avdia and Harden are involved.
The Israeli received the challenging task of guarding the superstar of the Clippers, who managed during one of the attacks to thread a ball between his legs with a beautiful assist.
The NBA's official user on the X network (formerly Twitter) was enthusiastic and shared the move, when some of the commenters laughed at the Israeli who tried to stop the pass with his leg: "The assist is nice, but what the hell is Avdia doing there?".
This James Harden assist was CLEAN 🥶
