The Spanish "Relvo" claims today (Thursday) that the Emirates plan to submit a huge offer to the star of Real Madrid ahead of the imminent joining of the Euroleague, and make him the "big pillar of the project".
According to the report, the team being built in the United Arab Emirates will offer Tavares a contract worth 8 million euros gross, more than double what he is currently earning at Real Madrid.
At the moment the negotiations between Real and the giant center on the renewal of his contract are stuck.

On November 27, Euroleague teams approved the entry of a franchise from the Emirates into Europe's top club.
