The official announcement was a long time coming but it has arrived: Hugo Ekitike is officially an Eintracht Frankfurt player.
The 21-year-old striker is on loan from PSG with a mandatory purchase option of 30 million euros.
The German club posted a publication on social networks to present their new player, this Thursday at 7 p.m.
The Frenchman left Paris in the afternoon to undergo his medical examination and settle the final administrative details.
With the German transfer window closing at 6 p.m., the timing was tight for both clubs and the player.
But the deadline was finally met and Hugo Ekitike was able to sign his contract on time.

The two clubs reached an agreement after several days of negotiations.
Frankfurt had already tried to attract the former Stade de Reims player this summer, without success.
It is now done and the striker will discover the Bundesliga, a championship which often smiles on young French players.
The 21-year-old has only played one game for PSG this season.
The capital club had been looking to part with it for many months.
Last year, he disappointed in the game as well as in the statistics, scoring four goals in 32 matches.
